We were looking for an amateur owner hunter prospect and really were not finding the right fit. We had never imported a horse and we had certainly never bought one just off video without trying it. When when I was ready to start my search for my next project, my parents turn to Primi to help us find my next match. Anne-Sophie sent us a selection of ponies via video for us to choose from and when we made the journey to the Netherlands, she had an efficient itinerary set up for us to check out all the possible options within a short period of time. The quality of ponies was exceptional and we ended up deciding to purchase a young five-year-old Belgian riding pony who has become a fantastic partner. Rio has been a total rockstar for us and has said yes to everything we’ve asked of him! When Primi went live, I saw Rio’s pictures and immediately called to my mom. We reached out and Anne-Sophie took the time to talk to my mom and trainer. They were really honest about the vetting. Every flexion video showed the entire flexion and jog and his vetting included neck and back radiographs, it was very thorough. Rio is sweeter and braver than they described and they were spot on when the team told me it would be a good match for me. I am so happy that we went this route, Rio has been a fantastic horse!

When we initially purchased Qing Kong M, he was supposed to be an investment horse.
